Nursing Services

Talspar Nursing Services is a division of Talspar Inc. A registered nurse in independent practice, Donna Lue Reise, is a healthcare provider in the area of lymphedema and foot-care.

Treatments are by appointment only.

Lymphedema treatments are provided in a secure private setting in our office at Regent Health Centre, 150 Locke Street, in Hamilton. Note that our office is wheelchair accessible. Home visits can be arranged in certain circumstances but at an additional cost.

At Talspar Nursing Services, Donna Lue Reise, RN, is a certified MLD Therapist with over 300 hours in post graduate training specific to lymphedema and a proud member of the Lymphovenous Association of Ontario (LAO).

Also certified by the Lymphology Association North America, she is the only MLD Therapist in the Hamilton Wentworth / Niagara Region that has earned and maintains the designation of Certified Lymphedema Therapist, CLT-LANA.

As an Authorizer for Lymphedema Garments for the Ontario ADP (Assistive Devices Program) and a certified fitter for compression garments, Talspar Nursing Services can recommend the product best suited to you specific needs. We are the only Hamilton MLD Therapist able to offer this combination of services.

A certified Foot-Care Instructor trained by the Victoria Order of Nursing, Donna Lue Reise, RN, has been providing foot-care to patients, including diabetic foot-care for twenty years.

Foot-care is normally supplied in a clinic setting, but home visits can be arranged. The stainless steel instruments used are treated with the highest standard of care currently practiced by sterilization in a steam autoclave.

We operate on a fee-for-service basis. Although we are not covered by O.H.I.P., we are covered by many health insurance policies including the Veteran's Affairs Canada.

Payment Method

Except by special arrangement or insurance direct deposit, for treatments made at our office, payment can be made by cash, cheque, debit card, or VISA or Master Card.

For home visits, payment is limited to cash or cheque.

Receipts are provided for tax purposes.
